A technical guide to navigating the DrugHub Mirrors ecosystem. This document outlines the standard operating procedures for configuring the Tor environment, establishing verified sessions, and maintaining account integrity via PGP encryption.
Environment Configuration
Security begins at the network layer. Standard browsers leak fingerprinting data. Accessing hidden services requires the Tor Browser to route traffic through the onion network.
Download: Obtain the Tor Browser only from the Tor Project source.
Security Level: Navigate to Privacy & Security settings and set the slider to "Safer". This disables non-HTTPS content and some scripts.
Window Size: Do not maximize the browser window to prevent screen resolution fingerprinting.
Verified Network Entry
Connection integrity is paramount. Always ensure you are connecting via a PGP-signed mirror. Below is a verified entry node currently monitored for uptime.

Verification Logic: Advanced users should import the market's public PGP key and verify the signed message on the login page to confirm server authenticity.
Account Architecture & Recovery
DrugHub utilizes a zero-knowledge recovery system. There is no email recovery. Your security relies entirely on the Mnemonic Phrase generated during registration.
Credentials
Use a unique username and a high-entropy alphanumeric password. Never reuse credentials from other services.
Mnemonic Phrase
CRITICAL: Save the 12-24 word phrase displayed upon registration. This is the ONLY way to reset a password or recover funds.
Encryption & 2FA
PGP (Pretty Good Privacy) is mandatory for secure communication and account protection.
- Generate a PGP key pair using software like Kleopatra or GPG4Win.
- Navigate to Account Settings and paste your Public Key.
- Enable 2-Factor Authentication (2FA). Upon login, the server will present an encrypted message that only you can decrypt, proving account ownership.
Funding & Privacy
DrugHub operates exclusively on the Monero (XMR) blockchain due to its privacy features (Ring Signatures, Stealth Addresses, and RingCT).
Why XMR?
Unlike Bitcoin, the Monero blockchain obfuscates sender, receiver, and amount. When funding your wallet, allow for 10 confirmations before the balance reflects in the market interface.
Escrow Protocol
To prevent loss of funds, understanding the Escrow system is vital.
When an order is placed, funds are moved to a holding wallet (Escrow). The funds are only released to the vendor once the user confirms receipt of the digital goods or service.
WARNING: Never "Finalize Early" (FE) unless explicitly trusting a vendor with an established reputation. Finalizing releases funds immediately and voids escrow protection.
